DevKits privacy policy

_Last updated: 25 September 2026_

In one line

DevKits does not collect, transmit or share any personal data. Every tool runs entirely on your

device.

What the app does with your data

no crash reporter and no advertising SDK. The only way it can communicate is if a future release

adds that capability, which would be stated here first.

on your device. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.

What is stored on your device

| Data | Where | Why |

|------|-------|-----|

| Recent history per tool | Local key-value storage | So you can re-open a previous result |

| Favourites | Local key-value storage | So pinned tools stay pinned |

| Saved tool chains | Local key-value storage | So reusable pipelines survive a restart |

| Settings (theme, language) | Local key-value storage | So your preferences are remembered |

History is never recorded for the AES tool, so a passphrase and its output are not written to storage.

You can erase everything from Settings → Clear all data, or by uninstalling the app.

Large entries in history are bounded: at most 20 entries per tool and about 1.5 MB in total, with the

oldest entries dropped first.

Encryption

The AES tool encrypts text with AES-256-GCM and a key derived from your passphrase with Argon2id. All

of that happens on your device. Your passphrase is never stored and cannot be recovered, so **if you

forget it, the encrypted text cannot be decrypted by anyone, including us**.

Backup export

Settings → Export backup copies a JSON file of your local data to the clipboard. That action is

entirely under your control: whatever you do with the copied text afterwards is your choice, and it is

no longer inside the app.

Permissions

The app requests no sensitive Android permissions. It does not use the camera, microphone, contacts,

location or phone state.

Children

The app is a developer utility and is not directed at children. It collects no data from anyone.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be published at the same URL and the date above will

be updated. If a future release were to add any data collection, that change would be described here

and in the Play Store data safety section before the release ships.
